Expo Sales
Fun sales job selling booth space at our Expos.
Mid-America Events & Expos, Inc. produces consumer expos such as the Girlfriends Expo & Getaway, 50+ PrimeTime Living Expos, Body Mind Life Expo and more.
No experience is necessary for this job other than an outgoing personality and a willingness to contact businesses over the phone.
You will be selling many products and services related to our expos such as sponsorships and bag inserts but the primary product is booth space. This is a good job for someone who gets their energy from talking to other people. Some rewarding parts of the job are getting to know and deal with a variety of business people as you help them make arrangements to exhibit and promote their products at our shows. This is a job where you will see the tangible results of your work as the events unfold, and because of our commission structure, you are in charge of your own raises. The better you are at selling our services, the more you make.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Call though our company database of contacts
- Discover the needs of prospects and build relationships with them
- Achieve company sales goals
EXPECTATIONS:
- Ability to find and cultivate sales
- Great upbeat attitude and team player mentality - we like to have fun!
- Sense of urgency - we also like to work hard.
COMPENSATION:
Commission based
